Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Chief Executive Adam Vivian has today reaffirmed the PFA’s support for the Perth Glory players.

Vivian made the announcement after the Glory were issued with a second Show Cause notice by Football Federation Australia (FFA) relating to alleged breaches of the A-League Player Contract Regulations (‘salary cap’).

“Throughout what has been an extremely uncertain and difficult time for the players, they have continued to conduct themselves in an extremely professional manner and I’m certain that this will continue to be the case,” said Vivian.

“The PFA has been in constant contact with the players and will ensure that all possible support is available for them.

“The PFA will continue to liaise with FFA on behalf of the players throughout the investigation.”
