Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Matildas, Socceroos and A-League Members set to meet to consider the proposals from the current round of collective bargaining negotiations.

To be held on Sunday, August 9, at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park, the General Meeting will see PFA members gather on mass to assess the latest proposal from Football Federation Australia (FFA).

“With the recent expiration of the A-League, Socceroos and Matildas’ Collective Bargaining Agreements, it is essential that all players are informed and able to advise the PFA about the proposals,” said PFA President Matt McKay.

“In preparation for the General Meeting the PFA has met with all A-League playing groups as well as the Socceroos and Matildas delegates committees.

“Whilst negotiations are currently ongoing, the PFA plans to present the players with a comprehensive proposal, which in accordance with the rules of the PFA they will then evaluate.”
