PFA/FFA Partnership

In July 2007, Football Federation Australia and the PFA signed a comprehensive partnership agreement aimed at ensuring both bodies cooperate in the pursuit of two shared objectives:

(1) establishing a rewarding and attractive career path for players; and

(2) building a viable future for Australian football at all levels.  FFA’s Strategic

Planning Framework expressly commits FFA to building positive working relationships with the PFA and players, as key stakeholders in the game.  The PFA’s Strategic Plan does likewise.

The FFA/PFA Partnership is being implemented through a series of agreements and ongoing negotiation and consultation at a number of levels:

The PFA is delighted to announce, with the support of LUCRF. the nominees for the PFA Footballer of the Year, the PFA Harry Kewell Medal and the inaugural PFA Women's Footballer of the Year.

The winners will be announced at the Australian Football Awards on Thursday 7 October in Sydney.
