Player Representation

The PFA, through collective bargaining, individual representation and organisation of the players, aims to establish football as Australia's sporting career of choice.

At the heart of the PFA's work are the players, who through representative positions on the Executive Committee, or as club delegates, help to advance and protect the players' interests, conditions and welfare and actively resolve issues on their behalf.

During the 2024/25 season, some new faces joined the the Executive Committee with Clare Hunt, Dylan Holmes and David Williams all joining, while Lydia Williams and Natasha Rigby both stepped down after their retirements.

The PFA's membership reached 714 professional players, while the PFA's legal team secured over $1.78m for PFA members over the course of the 2024/25 financial year.
