Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is pleased to announce the winner for the PFA Player of the Month for February is Sydney FC’s Adrian Mierzejewski.
Mierzejewski has been is sensational form for the table topping Sky Blues throughout February scoring four goals in three games.
Voted on by the PFA’s A-League based members, Mierzejewski said he was honored to win the award for the second time this season, after being awarded the PFA Player of the Month for December.
“I’m very happy and proud to have won this award for the second time this season,” said Mierzejewski.
“I’m thankful to have such great players around me and to play in a great environment which allows me to perform to my best.
“I am enjoying my time in the A-League and I believe we will go on to achieve great things this season.”
PFA President Alex Wilkinson praised his teammates recent performances.
“Adrian has settled in so well to the A-League this season and he is really enjoying his football which shows in his performances, which have been top shelf,” said Wilkinson.
