Mile Jedinak played the full match for Crystal Palace as they beat Chelsea 1-0. Mark Schwarzer was not in the Chelsea squad. Brad Jones was an unused substitute for Liverpool in their  4-0 win over Tottenham, whilst Chris Herd was not in the squad for Aston Villa when they lost 4-1 to Manchester United.

Alex Cisak was an unused substitute when his side Burnley lost 2-0 to Leicester City. Socceroo Adam Federici was an unused substitute for Reading as they drew 1-1 with Huddersfield Town.
