Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is pleased to announce Melbourne Victory’s Leroy George as the PFA A-League Player of the Month for March.
George has been in fantastic form throughout March scoring three goals and assisting one as Victory won three out of their four games.
Voted on by the PFA’s A-League members, George said he was honoured to receive the recognition.
“I’m very happy to be voted Player of the Month by my peers,” said George.
“I’m enjoying my football at the moment and I feel like we are playing well as a team and I’m really looking forward to the finals.”
PFA President Alex Wilkinson said George was a worthy winner.
“Leroy has got better and better as the season has gone and his last month has been sensational,” said Wilkinson.
“He has really established himself as a key player for Victory and is another great signing that is lighting up the A-League this season.”
The PFA Player of the Month Award is proudly supported by major partner LUCRF Super and Victoria University.
