The PFA is pleased to to announce a partnership with the International Football Coaching Conference Australia (IFCCA).

IFCCA, which will be hosted on the Gold Coast on May 25 and 26 2019, is opportunity for coaches at all levels, including current and retired professional players, to learn from global keynote speakers and domestic football industry leaders.

“We’re delighted to be involved in this event and share a platform to contribute insight from the players’ perspective,” National Manager, Player Development at the PFA Beau Busch said.

“Any dialogue on coaching ultimately takes into consideration the figures central to the game; the players.

“We’ll be encouraging the football community, including current and former players, to attend, where they will be able to gain valuable insight into coaching methodology at the highest level.”

IFCCA is Australia’s first national football-specific coaching conference in nine years with Grant Downie OBE and Thomas Federspiel have already confirmed as keynote speakers.

“IFCCA’s aim is for coaches at all levels to develop a global understanding of the world game through exposure to best practice football education,” Conference Director Ken Stead said.

“PFA’s strong focus on player development and continued education for current and former professional players makes this partnership a natural fit.

“The support of the PFA, and Football Coaches Australia, will ensure the continued success of IFCCA in 2019 and into the future.”

As part of the partnership, a PFA representative will also present at IFCCA.

IFCCA delegate passes give attendees access to all conference sessions and all exhibitors across the two-day conference, as well as exclusive accommodation discounts at the RACV Royal Pines Resort.
