Olivia Price put in a full shift for Canberra United in her 50th W-League match, although it wasn’t enough to halt the impressive Western Sydney Wanderers as they ran out winners 4-0 at McKellar Park.

Price provided an all-important assist for Leena Khamis the previous week, Canberra United defeating Adelaide United 2-1 as Marden Sports Complex. The goal puts Khamis in equal fifth on the all-time W-League goalscorer charts, joining Matildas legend Kate Gill on 42 goals.

Meanwhile, former W-League star Sam Kerr made her league debut for Chelsea overnight, instrumental in their 3-1 win over Reading. Kerr was unlucky not to score but dished off a superb back-heel assist in the first half to cap off a promising debut.

There were plenty of milestones in the A-League as well over the festive period.

Nathan Konstandopoulos played his 50th A-League match in Round 11 as Adelaide United were defeated by the Central Coast Mariners 2-1 in Gosford.

Despite suffering a Melbourne Derby loss, Curtis Good had reason to celebrate as he notched up his 50th A-League appearance for the club.

Joshua Brillante played his 150th A-League match against his former club Sydney FC, but he wasn’t able to steal the three points as City capitulated to a 2-1 loss at Jubilee Stadium. Meanwhile, Paulo Retre notched up his 50th A-League appearance with Sydney FC in the same match.

Matt Simon joined the 250 club with a substitute appearance against the Wellington Phoenix on the weekend. Simon becomes just the twelfth player in the A-League era to achieve this milestone.
