Dear A-League supporters,
As the captains of the ten A-League clubs we write to you to express our gratitude and appreciation of the outstanding support we receive week-in-week-out from you the fans.
The growth of the A-League, which is reflected in last weekend’s recording breaking attendances and TV ratings, is very much a product of the unique atmosphere you create at stadiums across the competition.
For the players there is no greater feeling than playing in front of passionate, committed and knowledgeable fans and we are extremely grateful to be able to do this on a weekly basis.
To ensure this remains the case the last thing the players’ want is our fans banned from attending matches. We encourage you all to familiarise yourself with the relevant match day protocols so your attendance at matches is not put at risk by breaking them.
Finally, once again thank you for your commitment and dedication and long may the fans and the players continue to drive football forward in Australia.
