PFA President Matt McKay said the nominees further highlighted the quality of players currently playing in the A-League.

“During November some of the football played across the league was of the highest possible standard and these three players were at the heart of this,” said McKay.

“Besart continues to show he is a finisher of the highest caliber and both Mitch and Aaron have been a joy to watch and highlight the quality that we have playing in the A-League.

“The players face a tough task in choosing a winner, with all three worthy recipients.”
