Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is pleased to announce the nominees for the PFA A-League Player of the Month for March.
Proudly supported by major partners LUCRF Super and Victoria University, the nominees are:
- Daniel Arzani, Melbourne City,
- Johan Absalonsen, Adelaide United,
- Leroy George, Melbourne Victory.
Arzani receives his third straight nomination for the award and will be looking to win it for the second time after being crowned PFA A-League Player of the Month in January.
Absalonsen scored 3 three goals in March to take his season tally to six goals in nine games after an injury interrupted first season at Adelaide.
George also hit the back of the net three times during March as Victory won three of their four games for the month.
“All three nominees have had a great month and it will be a close run race,” said PFA President Alex Wilkinson.
“It’s great that some fresh faces are providing so much excitement in the A-League this season, Johan and Leroy have settled in at their clubs really well and Daniel has really established himself as a key player for City this season.”
