A-League Semi Finalists dominate, as Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) announces the midfield nominees for the 2015/16 PFA A-League Team of the Season.

Proudly supported by PFA Major Corporate Partner LUCRF Super and Travellers Choice, the six nominees polled the most votes of the PFA’s A-League members.

The PFA A-League Team of the Season midfield nominees are:

With four of the six nominees set to play in this weekend’s A-League Semi Finals, the final team will be announced ahead of the 2015/16 A-League Grand Final.

City midfielder Aaron Mooy said he was delighted to be named amongst the nominees and said the shortlist highlighted the quality of midfielders plying their trade in the competition.

“On the pitch the A-League has gone to a new level and these players have all played a big part in this,” said Mooy.

“As a player, recognition from your peers is what you value most and that is what makes the PFA A-League Team of the Season so important for the players.

“To be in the running is an honour.”
