Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with award-winning travel company Travellers Choice.

The two-year agreement will see a PFA Travel Club established for PFA Members, allowing players to have access to a personalised service to assist them with all their travel needs.

Travellers Choice is an independent travel group that operates a network of more than 150 travel outlets across the country. In 2015 the company was named Australia’s Best Travel Agency Group at the prestigious National Travel Industry Awards.

The new agreement will also see Travellers Choice become the PFA’s Awards and Event’s Partner, significantly boosting the player association’s major events such as the Tobin Medal.

PFA Chief Executive Adam Vivian said the partnership would ensure that PFA members had access to a travel agency of the highest standard.

“Due to the demands of professional football, our members are afforded only a small window for personal travel,” said Vivian.

“This agreement will take much of the hassle out of booking and arranging holidays and will ensure that players and their families can maximise their time away from the game.

“Additionally, this agreement allows us to continue to grow the PFA’s events and awards, something that is fundamental in recongising and celebrating the achievements of our members.”

Travellers Choice Managing Director Christian Hunter said his organisation was delighted to support the PFA and Australia’s elite professional footballers.
