The PFA is pleased to be in a position to financially assist its members to develop their interests outside of football through the PFA Education Grant. To ensure we are able to help as many members as possible the PFA Executive has extended the current round of applications to 30 June 2008.
In addition, the PFA Executive recently increased the funding available to members under the fund. The 2 available grants are now:

  1. a start up grant of $1,000 per player which is paid up front to assist players with the cost of course fees and text books; and
  2. an Education Grant of $1,000 per year to a maximum of $3,000 per player. This grant is approved in advance and paid upon successful completion of the course or year.

This means, all PFA members are now entitled to a total of $4,000 to assist in furthering their education (subject to funds available).

If you have any questions about the application process, please contact the PFA’s Player Services and Operations Executive Shannon Beck at becks@pfa.net.au or 0408 132 790.
