PFA Education Grant – Now Accepting Applications

As reported in the last edition of The Marston, the PFA has launched its Education Grants program, and the application form is now available for download.

The PFA is delighted to be in a position to assist players prepare for their life after football, through career specific education.

There are two types of grants available to players:

PFA Education Grant – offers a maximum of $1,000 per year and $3,000 per player towards their course enrolment fees;
PFA Start up Grant – a once off start up payment of up to $400 towards text books

The PFA is now accepting applications up until 31 October 2006 for study undertaken in 2006. For study to be undertaken in 2007, applications will be accepted until 15 February 2007.
