Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is pleased to announce the nominees for the PFA A-League Player of the Month Award for February.
Proudly supported by major partners LUCRF Super and Victoria University, the nominees are:
>> Adrian Mierzejewski, Sydney FC;
>> Bobo, Sydney FC;
>> Daniel Arzani, Melbourne City;
>> Milos Ninkovic, Sydney FC.
Sydney FC are well represented once again with three nominees as their dominant season continued throughout February as they won all three games.
Bobo’s outstanding form during February saw him add three goals taking his season tally to an impressive 21, leading to his third consecutive PFA Player of the Month nomination.
After winning the Player of the Month Award in December, Mierzejewski is nominated again after a blistering month in which he scored four goals for the Sky Blues.
Melbourne City’s Danial Arzani continued the excellent form that saw him named Player of the Month for January with his second consecutive nomination.
PFA President Alex Wilkinson praised all four nominees.
“All four nominees have had a fantastic month on the pitch and all four would be deserving of the award,” said Wilkinson.
“Daniel Arzani is such an exciting prospect and it’s great to see him continue the great form he showed in January with a second successive nomination.”
“Adrian, Bobo, and Milos are all such great professionals and it’s a pleasure to see their skills and hard work first hand.”
The winner, as voted by the players, will be announced next week.
