Melbourne City players dominate, as the nominees for Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) W-League Player of the Month for November are announced.

Vying to join inaugural winner Marianna Tabain, the nominees for the PFA W-League Player of the Month are:

>> Kim Little, Melbourne City;

>> Larissa Crummer, Melbourne City; and

>> Ashleigh Sykes, Canberra United.

Having been selected by an awards committee made up of Matildas greats and leading figures in the Australian football media, the winner will be determined by a vote of all W-League players.

Having scored seven goals between them in three games during November, Crummer and Little’s nominations cap an outstanding season to date with the duo starring in City’s unbeaten start to the season.

On target twice during November, Sykes was also named amongst the nominees. The Matildas forward has been key for United as they have looked to keep pace with league leaders City.

PFA Player Relations Executive Kathryn Gill paid tribute to the trio and said all three were worthy of taking out the award.

“The football during November was outstanding,” said Gill. “Kim and Larissa have been instrumental for City and Ash has shown once again what a fantastic player she is.

“These three players will all have a big say on their teams’ fortunes this season and I have little doubt this won’t be only major award they are in the running for.”
