PFA Welcomes FFA & HSG Commitment

Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) today welcomed the renewed commitment by Hunter Sports Group (HSG) to the Newcastle Jets and the Hunter football community.

“The players have greatly appreciated the commitment of the Hunter Sports Group to the Jets, which has not only resulted in a greatly improved professional environment for the players, but greater community engagement evidenced through a 10,000 strong membership base and average crowds in excess of 12,000,” Schwab said.

“The players and the PFA are relieved that the matter has been resolved, and that all player contracts will be honoured.

“The PFA congratulates FFA and HSG on renewing their commitment,” Schwab added.
