Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) President Simon Colosimo today announced that a Special General Meeting of the PFA will be held on Wednesday 12 June 2013 at 1:00pm to enable all A-League players to consider proposals from the current round of collective bargaining negotiations. The meeting will be held at the East Tower Suite, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
“With the current A-League CBA having been extended until 14 June 2013 to allow the CBA negotiations to continue, it is essential that all players are informed and able to advise the PFA about the proposals,” PFA President Simon Colosimo said today.
“The PFA is continuing negotiations with Football Federation Australia (FFA) and the A-League Clubs with a view to having a comprehensive proposal for the players at the meeting,” Colosimo added.
The Special General Meeting will also provide the opportunity for the PFA to consider some other business, including a special resolution to alter the Rules of the PFA in a number of respects.
