Well Done Socceroos

Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) would like to congratulate the Socceroos squad who has, overnight, won qualification for the East Asian Football Federation’s (EAFF) 2013 East Asian Cup.

PFA President, Simon Colosimo, said “This is a wonderful result and demonstrates what great commitment and effort the players show whenever they represent their country. It is particularly pleasing that so many young players made their debut and performed so well on the international stage. As expected the team has been well led by Brett Emerton but the entire team has demonstrated what a great advertisement they are for Australia and Australian football”.

The Socceroos will participate in the EAFF East Asia Cup against Japan, Korea Republic and China PR in July 2013.
