PFA Members Abroad Update – Jul 15, 2014

Mustafa Amini and Dario Vidosic get on the scoresheet for their respective clubs in pre-season friendlies and Matt Acton keeps another clean sheet in Myanmar in this week’s PFA Members Abroad Update.

Club Friendly

Bradden Inman played until half-time and scored in Crewe Alexandra’s 4-1 win over Nantwich Town. James Wesolowski played until the 62^nd minute as Shrewsbury Town beat Chesterfield FC 2-0. Cameron Burgess was in the starting 11 and scored for Fulham FC in their 2-0 win over Motherwell FC.

WSL Cup – Group 3

Caitlin Friend played a full match and scored, whilst Danielle Brogan played until the 57^th minute as Notts County LFC beat Yeovil Town 4-0.

Holland

Club Friendly

Trent Sainsbury came on in the 46^th minute as PEC Zwolle drew 1-1 with Mouscron-Peruwelz. Travis Cooper and Harry Ascroft came on in the 60^th minute in VVV-Venlo’s 1-0 win over EVV Echt.

Mathew Leckie played until half-time in FC Ingolstadt 04’s 2-2 draw with Viktoria Plzen. Mustafa Amini scored in Borussia Dortmund II’s 2-2 draw with SpVgg Neckarelz.

Dario Vidosic scored for FC Sion as they beat Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1.

Josh Kennedy was not in the squad as Nagoya Grampus beat Toyota Shukyudan 12-0.

Elise Kellond-Knight played a full match, while Tameka Butt came on in the 85^th minute for Iga FC Kunoichi in their 4-1 win over AS Elfen Sayama. Clare Polkinghorne played a full match in INAC Kobe Leonessa’s 1-0 loss to JEF United.

KOREA REPUBLIC

Luke DeVere was not in the squad for Gyeongnam FC in their 4-1 loss to Jeonbuk FC. Alex Wilkinson was also not in the squad for Jeonbuk. Aleksandar Jovanovic played a full match as Jeju United beat Seongnam FC 2-1. Robert Cornthwaite was not in the squad in Jeonnam Dragons’ 2-1 win over Sangju Sangmu.

Erik Paartalu was missing due to injury in Muangthong United’s 2-0 win over Songkhla.  Trent McClenahan, Michael Beauchamp and Matt Thompson played full matches as PTT Rayong lost 1-0 to Suphanburi FC.

Justin Pasfield was an unused substitute, while Joseph Taylor was not in the squad as Tampines Rovers lost 3-2 to Warriors FC.

Matt Acton played a full game and kept a clean sheet in Yangon United’s 2-0 win over GFA FC.

Adriano Pellegrino played a full match and set up the winning goal as Phnom Penh Crown beat Naga Corp 1-0.

Lydia Williams played until the 13^th minute, Samantha Kerr played a full match and Teigen Allen came on in the 56^th minute as Western NY Flash lost 1-0 to Washington Spirit. Lisa De Vanna played for Washington until the 84^th minute. Emily van Egmond was an unused substitute as Chicago Red Stars beat Seattle Reign 1-0.

Chloe Logarzo played a full match and scored, Ashley Spina came on in the 76^th minute and Tara Andrews came on in the 79^th minute as Colorado Pride beat Seattle Sounders 4-0.

W-League – Central Conference

Kristy Moore was in the starting 11 for Ottawa Fury in their 8-0 win over Toronto Lady Lynx.

USL Premier Development League – Great Lakes Division

Aaron Schneebeli came on in the 89^th minute in Forest City London’s 2-0 win over Chicago Fire U23.
