Western Sydney Wanderers perfect start in the W-League this season has seen them strongly represented in the PFA’s nominees for the November Player of the Month Award.

Americans and North Carolina Courage teammates, Kristen Hamilton and Lynn Williams are both nominated after starting the season in terrific form.

Williams has scored two goals in two appearances in November while Hamilton has scored four goals in three games, including an impressive hat trick in the Wanderers’ Round 3 win against Brisbane Roar.

Another NWSL import completes the nominees, with American Simone Charley also recognised for her fantastic start to life in the W-League.

The Canberra United forward has been a key player for her team so far scoring three goals in three games to start the season.

In the A-League, Melbourne City striker Jamie Maclaren‘s blistering start to the season has been acknowledged while Adelaide United’s Riley McGree and Western United’s Alessandro Diamanti are also nominated.

Maclaren has been in red hot form so far this season scoring nine goals, with five of them coming in November in just two appearances.

McGree has also found himself on a scoring streak recently with three goals in three games in November and also chipped in with an assist for Nikola Mileusnic’s wonderstrike.

Meanwhile former Italy international Diamanti has shown why he was such a prized recruit for Western United this season with a series of strong displays in November including scoring a goal in Round 4 and setting up another in Round 5.

The PFA Player of the Month award nominees are selected by a panel of former players and leading media figures, with the winner voted on by the players of each respective league.
